Surveying
Producing a Site Survey
Any design work must be undertaken using an
accurate survey as the basis for plans and drawings. This usually
involves producing a site survey from a series of measurements taken
around the garden including changes in level. This is backed up with
a series of digital photos of the site to record existing features
and a detailed site analysis. The site analysis indicates the soil
quality and PH (essential for planting recommendation) prevailing
conditions, the garden aspect and any unusual conditions (areas of
water retention or very shady spaces). These notes and the survey
serve as a valuable resource for producing your new garden design

All surveys carried out by Eden Landscape
Design are done so using professional levelling and measuring
equipment.
It is sometimes necessary to instruct an
external surveyor to undertake this work. Usually when the site is
complicated, very large or has many changes in level.
This is carried out by a qualified Land
Surveyor as recommended. |
